Today, we are building some bridges 👷‍♀️ 🌉 . Not just in the community, to get more people involved in pencil puzzles (more on that later 👀), but in the puzzles themselves! Today's GAPP (Genuinely Approachable Pencil Puzzle) is a Hashiwokakero (or Hashi for short, AKA Bridges)!

Rules: Connect pairs of circles horizontally or vertically so that all circles form one connected network. Connections may not cross one another, and any pair of circles may have at most two connections between them. Numbers in circles represent the amount of connections they’re a part of (an unnumbered circle can have any number of connections, so long as it is connected).

As always, an example puzzle with its solution is attached along with today's puzzle.

To earn a Speedy Sloth 🦥 solve the puzzle in 1:15 or less!
To net yourself a Quick Crab 🦀 solve the puzzle in 3:30 or less!
All other times are deserving of a Bridge-Building Banded Barbet 🐦 !

And more about building bridges-- a group of extremely talented setters (@djmathman, @punchingcatto, @Botaku, and @Conflux) have put together a competition aiming to get beginners excited about non-Sudoku puzzles! It is intended as a first competition for those interested in competitions and puzzles but are a bit overwhelmed or intimidated, or for those who simply cannot get enough easy puzzles!
