Today Eric isn't able to make it so I'm filling in, we should hopefully see him tomorrow!
For now though, our daily GAPP is a Wittgenstein Briquet! Not actually invented by Ludwig Wittgenstein, and not actually using real coal, although im sure you could perhaps try to do so for a pencil and paper solve
Rules: Locate some 1x3 blocks in the grid which may not overlap each other or the clues. A clue represents how many of the (up to) four surrounding cells are used by blocks. All cells which aren’t used by blocks must form one orthogonally connected area.

Einstein-ing it and speedily matching or beating 1:45 will get you the Speedy Sloth 🦥
Having your Witts about you and finishing in 4:45 or less will get you the Quick Crab 🦀
And all solvers who overcome any Briq walls and complete the puzzle at all get a Plump Puffin 🐦
