We're revisiting Canal View today! If you can even remember it, that is, as it's been quite a while since the first one 🗓️ And as we here at GAPP often do with repeated genres, we like to switch things up a bit to keep things fresh. There's a common idea in this one that you may like a hint for:
Combining the connectivity rule with the 2x2 avoidance rule will get you out of a sticky situation!

Rules: Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells connected in a straight line horizontally or vertically to the clue. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded.
