Tyrgannus

Well, let's see if I remember my attachments unlike my latest GAPP post😅

Hi everyone! While you're waiting for Freddie's GAPP, I'd like to link the latest MtG, Mind the GAPP Vol. 12!

Yes, a full year has passed and we're still here! As always there are some bonus puzzles as well as a table at the end of the document for animal times. Stay tuned for all the wonder to come in GAPP's next chapter in its journey

Today's puzzle is a Nondango, and it's time to take a trip to etymology corner. Dango are globular Japanese dumplings often served three at a time on skewers. You must paint some dango black in such a way that there are no uniformly coloured skewers that can be formed - hence, NON-dango. But if you don't mind having black and white dango on a single skewer (or don't care about skewers at all), you sure have a meal in front of you...

Rules: Shade one circle in each region so that no three consecutive cells contain all shaded circles or all unshaded circles, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

GAPP 101: If you can deduce there is a shaded circle within some subset of a region's circles, you can mark all other circles unshaded. E.g. if you know a circle in R1C1 is unshaded, and circles in R1C2, R1C3 and R2C3 are in the same region (possibly different to the region R1C1 is in), then R2C3 is unshaded, since at least one of R1C2 or R1C3 must be shaded.

Relatedly, Interface Note: As well as clicking on circles to shade them, you can right click/double click to mark circles unshaded.
