Today’s puzzle is an Achtelwenden (No Crossing)! This genre features a loop that can travel diagonally as well as orthogonally. Clues count how many eighths (Achtel) of a turn (Wenden) the loop turns in their cell. The No Crossing variant is simpler than the classic ruleset, so we’re using it first for GAPP!

Rules: Draw a loop by connecting the centers of orthogonally or diagonally adjacent cells. The loop must travel through every cell. The loop can not cross itself. A number in a cell, when multiplied by 45°, indicates the angle formed by the loop in that cell.

Note: The loop forms a 45° angle at a 1, a 90° (right) angle at a 2, a 135° angle at a 3, and a 180° (straight) angle at a 4. Check the example puzzle to see possible turns that can appear at each number!
