Here's a walkthrough for yesterday's backup Slitherlink: https://youtu.be/PdYEQZ2OoUw
In the dazzling light, I’m not sure I’m ready to chase after the strange figure. Who were they, anyway? I pick up the envelope. It’s black, with a decorative white hexagon tiling and a two-color seal. Before I can open it, a portal opens on the other side of the room. It’s Shye, along with someone I don’t recognize.
"Shye!"
"Walker! I’m so glad you’re ok - what happened?" I tell her about the power outage and the mysterious visitor. "The call must have dropped when the power went out. The visitor left this envelope; it looks like a map to their location is inside. I think we should go after them. We only have enough decrypted baklog puzzles for a few days, and I’m beginning to think they were the one that hacked our systems."
"This visitor…" Shye ponders. "It might be Usowan. They’re a clue, like Alcazar here." Alcazar nods. "Let’s take a look at the map while I fill you in on the details." Inside the envelope is an Easy as ABC, which I'm sure I've seen in GAPP before. But on a Hexagonal grid?
Rules: Place letters from the list given outside the grid into some cells so that each row and each diagonal line contains each letter as often as indicated in the top right corner. A clue outside the grid represents the first letter seen in the corresponding row or column from that direction.
Note: Answer check is on Number mode; make sure that letters are capital and that no Number mode symbols are in empty cells.
