I work through the Full Masyu, and then try to answer. "Well, the two sides are mirror images of each other, and the all the pearls of one color are on one side of the puzzle…" I’m not too pleased with this answer, and neither is Usowan. "You’ll need to think harder than that! It wouldn’t be a hidden meaning if you could see it without solving the puzzle, would it?"

I glance over to Shye, also looking over the solved Masyu grid, and Alcazar, standing disinterestedly off to the side. "Well… one thing that stands out to me as a constructor is how both sides are unique, and not overclued. I’m used to black circles providing more information than white ones, but they seem equally powerful here." "Interesting! I’ll leave the analogies to you." Was my answer correct? Usowan’s excitement didn’t seem genuine… but maybe they would have reacted that way to any response.

"Anyway! I'm sure you don't want to get lost in those winding tunnels again. I came in through a small Haunted Mirror Maze, which you'll find through that archway in the back. But watch out for the monsters - you may not always see them coming..."

Rules: Place the given number of vampires, ghosts, and zombies into the grid such that each empty cell contains one monster. A clue outside the grid indicates how many monsters can be seen when looking straight into the grid from its location. Mirrors divert the line of sight. Vampires can’t be seen in mirrors. Ghosts can only be seen in mirrors. Zombies can always be seen. If a line of sight travels through a cell twice, that cell’s monster is counted again.

Note: The three sample grids to the right of the puzzle show whether each monster is visible directly and/or visible through a mirror. The letters below the grid show how many of each monster appear in the grid; feel free to mark these off while solving.

Interface Note: For answer check, make sure to use capital letters in the grid!
