Freddie Hand

Today's puzzle is a Smullyanic Dynasty, of knights and knaves (and multiple things besides) fame. So here's another bonus puzzle!

There are four people, named Angela, Brian, Charles and Zac. Precisely two of them are knights (always tells the truth) and the others are knaves (always lie). They make the following statements:

Angela: Candy Crush is a good genre.
Brian: Loop Special is a good genre.
Charles: Nondango is a good genre.
Zac: Kouchoku is a good genre.

Can you identify the knights and knaves?

Apologies to those who were expecting an actual puzzle. You will find that at the end of this post - it also involves truthful and lying clues.

Rules: Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent and the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Unshaded clues indicate the number of shaded cells in the surrounding 3x3 area (for clues on the edge, this is the 2x3 area surrounding the clue, and the 2x2 area for clues in the corner). Shaded clues must be different from the number of shaded cells in the surrounding 3x3 area, i.e. shaded clues are liars.
