After posting Syuma, I recieved another genre from the parallel universe, a Litherslink. (Very conveniently, it’s also today’s Advent Calendar genre.) This genre can be tricky - I’d highly recommend checking out the example / previous one in GAPP!
Rules: Draw lines along the edges of some cells to form trees.
1. There must be more than one tree.
2. A tree must branch or terminate at every grid vertex. In other words, each grid vertex must have 1, 3, or 4 connected edges.
3. Trees must not contain loops.
4. A number indicates the number of edges of that cell that are included in a tree.
Here’s a GAPP 101: The corners of 1 and 3 clues are particularly useful with the vertex rule. If you have 0 or 1 segments in the 2 edges connecting to the vertex, you can place some segments or Xs around the 3 or 1. Check the diagrams on the puzzle image!
Try past GAPP Litherslink (recommended!)
