Double ping? What double ping? X_Sheep has not just been adding new genres to pzprxs, but also built-in support for new variants, such as the Full variant for many loop genres (as featured recently by Freddie). This week saw the addition of Aqre (Borders), which appeared on GAPP a few months ago, so here's a supersized one. I made sure to keep it approachable by only featuring one orientation of borders. One thing at a time, right?
Previous Aqre (Borders) by Lavaloid:
Rules: Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. There may not exist a run of more than three consecutive shaded or unshaded cells horizontally or vertically anywhere in the grid.
Variant: A pair of cells separated by a bold border must contain one shaded cell and one unshaded cell.
🖥️ Interface tip: 🖥️ In larger puzzles with connectivity rules it can sometimes be easy to lose track of which cells are already connected and which aren't. Switch to the "Check shaded cell connection" input mode at the top and click/tap a shaded group to highlight all the cells already connected to it if you get lost.
