Oh no! I already prepared a puzzle for today's GAPP, but I tripped in a hurry but all of the rules fell off! Oh, it's Instructionless Week? What a coincidence.
Today's ruleset and example puzzle are created by Menderbug, while the main puzzle is mine.
Hint: ⚠️ Remember that the solution to the example must be unique. Specifically, why do we need to place the top right diamond, and why are the placement of the diamonds around the 3 clue unique? ⚠️
Full rules:
⚠️⚠️ Place 2x2 diamonds into the grid such that the shaded cells and the diamonds combined form a single diagonally connected region. Diamonds must not share an edge. Numbers count the amount of diamonds that touch its cell. ⚠️⚠️
Interface note: The answer is drawn cell-by-cell using the
Composite > Paint > Shakashaka mode. Click at the center of a cell, then drag in the direction the black half of the cell.Score a Sly Sloth 🦥 by solving the puzzle without using either spoiler.
Collect a Crafty Crab 🦀 by completing the puzzle using only the hint.
Or finish the puzzle using the full rules to become the proud owner of a Clumsy Crow 🐦!
