Hello everyone! We have a rule in GAPP that we can't cover a genre in Supersized Saturday unless it's appeared before as a normal puzzle. Luckily, we've had five other Instructionless puzzles this week, so this rule remains unbroken.

For those of you who have been suggesting genre names, I'm curious what you come up with for this. A wiggly little otter 🦦 will be rewarded to the first person who comes up with the same name I did (one guess per person please)!

This puzzle has two examples.

Hint: ⚠️ There are two clue types in this genre. Both are directional, and both count something. ⚠️

Full Rules:

⚠️⚠️ Place a whole number from 1 to N/2 (where N is the side length of the grid) into each cell such that every number from that range appears twice in each row and column: once shaded, and once unshaded. A star clue indicates the number of cells with opposite shading adjacent to the clued cell in the directions the star points. An arrow clue indicates the number of cells with identical shading in the direction the arrow points. Gray clues are unshaded, white clues can be shaded or unshaded, and clues in shaded cells are shaded. ⚠️⚠️

To earn yourself a Sly Sloth 🦥, solve the puzzle without using either spoiler.
To net yourself a Crafty Crab 🦀, complete the puzzle using only the hint.
All other solvers are well-deserving of a Gargantuan Grey Go-Away-Bird 🐦!
