Walker

Here’s a Supersized for one of my favorite niche genres, Domino Domino! It’s such a fun genre that I’ve written it twice 🍫 🍫 [There's no domino emoji , the chocolate bar is a pretty consistent 1x2 rectangle across major browsers.] After placing all the dominoes, you can knock them down in a domino run!

Rules: Place 1x2 blocks in the grid, each with either two As or two Bs, which don’t overlap each other. Blocks of the same letter may not touch one another orthogonally. All of the blocks must form a single orthogonally connected area, but cannot fully occupy any 2x2 region. Cells with letters must be occupied by a domino of the indicated letter.

Here’s a GAPP 101 for a step that shows up a few times: In a 3x3 box containing a ring of four Bs, the other five cells must be shaded; there's no way to place an A domino in one of those cells without creating a 2x2 area of dominoes.

Note: Answer check will activate on any one of the following:
- shading all cells that don’t contain dominoes
- drawing all edges of dominoes inside the grid
- placing all (non-given) capital letters inside dominoes
Feel free to use whatever notation makes sense for you! Personally, I like to shade the dominoes green (A) and blue (B), which lets me stay in Shading mode for the entire solve.
