Rook

Here is my half of the genre swap between me and Jovi: Isocube! Last time, the rules for this genre were explained using 3D visualization, but this time I'm gonna use Jovi's non-3D formulation that I'm quite fond of. Please note that the rules in the example link do use the 3D explanation!

Rules: Connect edge-adjacent triangular cells to form 2-cell diamonds such that all cells are part of a diamond. Divide the grid into regions of edge-adjacent diamonds of the same orientation. No two regions with diamonds of the same orientation may be edge-adjacent. A clue indicates the number of diamonds in the region containing the number.
