Today's first instance of Mathsy Monday* includes variables, a foundational principle to mathematics! It's a Cipher Heyawake!

Rules: Shade some cells such that no two shaded cells share an edge and all unshaded cells form one connected network. A horizontal or vertical line of unshaded cells must not cross more than one region border. A letter within a region represents a number that indicates the number of shaded cells within that region. All instances of the same letter correspond to the same number. No two different letters correspond to the same number.
