Hey everyone! Despite being somewhat of a "classic" at this point, Star Battle is never really a genre I've enjoyed. Despite this, I set out to make one for GAPP even though I'd never seriously tried to make one before, and I actually had a lot of fun! Today's puzzle also contains a GAPP 101. I hope you enjoy it!

Rules: Place a star into some cells such that every row, column, and thickly-outlined region contains the number of stars given outside the grid. No two stars may be in cells that share an edge or a corner.

GAPP 101: You can click a cell edge to place a dot (on mobile, select "Dots" as the input mode. Try the example to get the hang of switching between "Dots" and "Auto")---this indicates that there is a star in one of those two cells. Cells adjacent to the long edge of the resulting pair of cells must not contain stars, as that would rule out a star from being in both cells separated by a dot!
