Tyrgannus

Today marks the second time in recent memory that I'm covering a new genre to GAPP that involves numbers outside the grid and shading. Weirdly specific really, especially considering they both start with the letter K. Don't worry, this one doesn't have any addition though, but still involves it's slightly less scary sibling, Counting

Today's genre is a Kuromasunuri!

Rules: Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent. A clue outside the grid indicates the length of the longest run of consecutive unshaded cells in the corresponding row or column.
