Happy Tuesday y'all
.
Time is such an incredible and weird thing, it passes, and quickly too
. Before you realise, another month is over and you have a compilation document to make
. But you're smart, and did most of the work daily in order to not be overwhelmed at the end of the month
.
We hope you enjoyed January as it was a month where we did a lot of quirky new genres, not gonna lie, I'm also having a little bit of a hard time keeping up with all the rulesets, but the lovelies make it enjoyable to figure things out
.
As always, there are bonus puzzles at the end of the document for you to enjoy, this time fully equipped with rules and examples
.
pebby out
!
Edit: A keen eyed solver pointed out that the bonus puzzle 3 (Light and Shadow by Eric Fox) refers to a wrong date for its example and rules, it should be January 22nd instead of 23rd
!
The second issue of Pulze magazine (https://www.tam-box.com/pulze) is coming out very soon, and one of the genres featured within it as a one-off puzzle is Planks. Today I'll be showcasing the genre in GAPP form 😄
Rules: Shade some cells so that each orthogonally connected area of shaded cells forms a plank: a one-wide rectangle of at least two cells. Cells with black circles must be shaded. Cells with white circles must not. If a plank or orthogonally connected area of unshaded cells contains any numbers, they must sum to the number of cells in that plank or area.
