Walker

Here’s a walkthrough for yesterday’s Nanameguri by Freddie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjKD-mKoNwU

Day after day of guesses - unfortunately, no one has claimed an otter today! It’s fun to see everyone’s guesses - keep guessing for the chance to receive an otter! 🦦

Today’s puzzle is a triangular Ivy! Ivy is very natural on a triangle grid; as the genre inventor @Menderbug describes, "In another universe… this might have been the default grid for the genre."

Rules: Draw lines connecting the centers of some orthogonally adjacent cells to form a single connected, non-looping network of lines. Each dead end is marked with a number, indicating the distance along its line to the first instance of a branch.

Notation Tip: As in the first Ivy, using a lot of aux marks is helpful. You can place crosses on edges that cannot be used, and use shading to mark cells that do or don’t contain branches.
