Some Sundays, I struggle to find a combination of genre and grid type that works well and is still fun to solve (as you might have noticed). And then other (rare) times, I stumble upon a combination that works so well, I can't believe I haven't seen it before. Such as Snake on a Triangular grid. In fact, after playing around a bit more with this variant, I'm no longer convinced that the square grid is the best option for this genre.

Rules: Shade some cells to form a non-intersecting path which does not touch itself, not even at a point. Black circles must lie on one end of the path. White circles must lie somewhere along the path, but not at an end. A number outside the grid represents how many cells in the indicated row are shaded.
