If you know what Hitori means, you'll probably agree that Futari is a natural variant of the puzzle. While that variant exists, we won't be featuring it today. Instead, today's GAPP is a different genre named Futari (or ふたりにしてくれ)!

Rules: Place exactly one integer from 1 to N/2 into each cell such that every row and column contains exactly two of each integer, where N is the side length of the grid. Orthogonally adjacent cells may not contain the same number.
Note: The range is 1 - 4 in the main puzzle, and 1 - 3 in the example puzzle.

Finish the puzzle in 4:00 or less for a Speedy Sloth 🦥!
Finish the puzzle in 8:00 or less for a Quick Crab 🦀!
Finish with any time at all for a Pair of Greater Bird-of-Paradise 🐦
